Web development is made to run in a web browser, Application (desktop) development runs on your desktop (like QuickBooks or MS Word).
Almost all of our development is done in ASP.NET; some of our development is done in PHP or Java/JSP. Almost all of our web applications use MS SQL as the back-end (MS SQL 2000/MS SQL 2005).
We focus on doing quality development that is on-time and on-budget so as to build a long-term relationship with our clients.
We have a wide variety of clients, from small Internet start-ups to large Fortune 500 companies, and everything in between. This not only gives us experienced unmatched by anyone else, it also gives us ideas on what we can use from one industry to yours.
We are happy to work alongside other developers, or picking up an application where another developer left off.
And we have developed lots of different kinds of applications in many industries:
·Social-networking sites
·Web sites for the travel industry
·robust e-Commerce sites
·Sales Management/CRM
·Order Processing/Inventory/Shipping
·Integration with other systems, such as QuickBooks, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, Amazon, mainframes, Excel, FoxPro, Access, TRW, and more
·Conversion from various databases/technology to ASP.NET: FoxPro, mainframe, "Classic" ASP, Access, Oracle, VB6, Delphi, and others
Lots of web design companies offer web development, but the 2 aren't the same thing.
Web designers focus on making pretty pictures, web developers (like Noyveg) focus on building your web application to be functional, efficient, and secure.
We have the experience to make sure your web application is developed correctly, not as an afterthought from a web design company that doesn't focus on development.
Here is how we outperform web design companies:
·using our experience in many industries to give you suggestions/tips we've used for other clients
·designing your database correctly
·making the correct choices to design the application (to handle future changes)
·optimize your website for performance
·lock-down your server and application to minimize hack attempts
·and design a workable plan to implement all of the functionality you need.
It's important that our developers are local to Southern California because on occasion: you're going to need to meet with us.
It's going to be difficult to say the least if your developers are out of town or even overseas.
We understand that projects can get very complicated, and explaining how your business over the phone or in endless emails is just not productive.
We are able to come on-site and work on your application; and more importantly we'll be there when you need us, face-to-face.
To start, our rates are extremely competitive: we keep our rates low by developing long-term relationships with clients, and effective management and project design.
But can we really compete with hiring someone full-time? Absolutely.
Consider all these things that you'll have to pay when you hire someone full-time vs. hiring us for a project:
·Payroll taxes
·Health benefits
·Workers' Compensation
·Overtime
·Sick Time
·Holiday
·401K
·lost productivity because you people don't work 100% of work hours
·training
When you add it up, an employee's true cost can be double the cost of someone's wages or salaries.
When you consider that you will pay $0 for all of those items above by choosing Noyveg, and also get the benefit of our experience, the choice is easy.
Also keep in mind that you only pay us when you need us: if you need 4 developers one month and 0 the next, that's not a problem for us.
That is Development on Demand: pay for the development you need, and nothing more.
What we'll do first is discuss your project: has it been started already, or is this a new project?
From there we will meet and go over your specifications and create a framework template for your project: how long will it take, how much will it cost? This will take a different amount of time depending on the complexity of the project.
If it's a project that has already started, we'll need to see the source code and database before we make a firm estimate.
Once we agree to the project scope and cost, we'll begin with with the number of developers we feel is appropriate (usually 2-4).
We will set up the test environment on our server and give you updates to see as we complete different sections of the project.
Most of our development will be done off-site (but still local to SoCal); we recommend having periodic meetings to keep the project on track and you informed.
We use an advanced project management system (developed internally) that you can use to monitor each part of your project, including which sections are done/what % are left, report any issues, and see any notes from the developers. All of this from one central location.
Because we're local, we can come in anytime to go over your project, discuss milestones, or changes to the specifications.
We'll launch your application, deliver all the source code and database to you, and move on to your next project or maintain this one.
We'll continue to support your application for as long as you need us to, or we can train other developers to do the maintanance.
